ESNNA – Prevention of the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Tourism
Tourism promotes a childhood and adolescence free from sexual exploitation. Therefore, EcoExplore Perú does not tolerate or accept any act that facilitates or contributes to the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
1. WHAT IS ESNNA?
The Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA, according to its Spanish acronym) is a serious issue that violates the fundamental rights of children and adolescents. It involves the use of minors in sexual acts or sexually explicit or erotic representations to satisfy the interests or desires of other people in exchange for financial or other forms of compensation.
It constitutes abusive behavior against children and adolescents, depriving them of their most fundamental rights and dignity.
